I recently bought an Ipad 2 dock. Was really looking for it and its working. But one thing is bothering me.
Behind the dock theres an input for speakers etc. The sound is working and all that, but it's not able to adjust the volume by plugging behind the dock. I can only adjust the volume by plugging my speakers direct to my Ipad.

Yes, it is a line out, which typically does not have volume control. You expect the device to which you attach it to control the volume, rather than set it on the iPad. Can't change that AFAIK. Sorry.

Thats kind of stupid, was expecting that it would work. Not that its a problem by plugging it direct to the ipad, just wanted to drop all the wires while docking on and off
