Hi all,

Just trying to see what's out there and what are the Bluetooth stereo headphones out there now. I have a very old motorola S305 that is getting to be a little to big for my taste right now and probably my kids will love to have it :-)

What are good options out there? pros and cons will be nice.

I like and have the Plantronics Back Beat 903+. I like them a lot and have used them traveling and facilitating conference calls.

You will see mixed reviews on them and they seem to possibly not function well when wet with sweat. I don't use the for working out so that's not an issue for me.

Sounds quality, ease of use and comfortableness are great IMHO

I use the motorola S9 hd. I use them both for my iPhone and iPad. They works very well. I use them to travel and work out in.

Sweet, thanks! I been looking at the s10 hd from motorola as well. Main use will be work and to the gym.

Yes they are one size fits all.

I use the MOTOROKR™ S305 Wireless Stereo Headphones. FRYS.com*|*Motorola has them for $49.95. I bought a spare set on sale for $35.

I do not think that you can go past the Plantronics Pulsar 590 A. I have had them for over 4 years now without any trouble. In fact I wore out the sealed battery pack and Plantronics replaced my set with a brand new set of phones. I use them driving as my handsfree set while listening to music as well. The ability to act not only as a top line stereo headset, but as a HFree for my cell phone is what made me chose them over the Bose NC phones. While the Bose are great, they do still need a cable to your ipod,phone or iPad. Neither do they incorporate a mic for the phone, SKYPE etc.
Flying long distance is not a problem as the Plantronics can revert to a cable due to Blue Tooth not being permitted on aircraft. I have used mine on many international flights as either my cabin entertainment unit headphone or my ipod, laptop or iPad without any problems. I possibly have steered several people to purchasing them after demonstrating mine.
For around $US200, they are a bargain IMHO

Is that true? Not permitted at any time, or just during takeoff/landing? All aircraft, all airlines, or just some?
