As far as free video converter: Handbrake, MPEG Streamclip, ffMPEGx, Visual Hub, VideoMonkey, ... ;; there are many out there, but not one is really the best for all, sometimes one has to use this one, and then one has to use that one.

Ended up being an AnyDvd issue.
Combination of dvd43 and handbrake seems to be the best and simplest way to get dvds onto the ipad.

If there is a video converter that is lower than 8 bucks i could pay but is there any free converters that convert ram files
