Is there a case for the iPad that can be used with the iPad dock? I have the Apple iPad case and as thin as it is, it still does not fit on the dock properly because of the flat ridge around the case.

This is a question I'm also wondering about.

I just got the iPad Keyobard dock and I have to remove the iPad from the case or protector cover to fit it into the dock.

I found that a bit disappointing.

Candyshell? just heard of it.

Can't you adjust the openning in the Apple case with a sharp craft knife?
There appears to be enough "meat" in the case to make that a simple adjustment.

Yes with a sharp knife it may be possible to adjust it. I just don't be sure, if that's the best way, something else could broke.

You would have to be very very careful, I did that with a case on my ipod touch because I was tired of having to take the case off all the time and it did not work the way I had hoped.

Just make sure the blade is sharp. I prefer scalpels for this sort of work.
If you have a problem cutting the hole you can effectively repair it with a rip stock nylon patch from a kite repair shop.
Nb haven't needed to try this
