I have the newest iPad with Retna Display. Under Settings > Update it shows version 6.0.1 and that I have the latest update. Shouldn't I have software version 6.0.2 and shouldn't it be updated automatically?

I have the newest iPad with Retna Display. Under Settings > Update it shows version 6.0.1 and that I have the latest update. Shouldn't I have software version 6.0.2 and shouldn't it be updated automatically?
iOS 6.0.2 is only available for the iPad mini and the iPhone 5. For all other iPads, except the iPad 1, the latest iOS version is iOS 6.0.1.Originally Posted by judy284
BTW, when available, the latest software versions for your iPad are never updated automatically, you have to manually chose whether or not to do the update. It will automatically download to your device but will not install without your permission.
