Is the unit loosing battery on standby???? Another trick is totally drain the battery to zero and charge for over 12hrs +...

It seems to have straightened up a bit. Only lost about 10% battery in 2ish hours yesterday. Still plugged in for today, but will report again tonight. And yes, it was losing battery on stand-by. Faulty smart cover. New one came yesterday, works perfect.

If you just transferred it from a 2 to a 3 or 4 it could be the magnets polarity. This was not an issue with the previous generations, but now it is. There were many "smart covers that just got the iPad3 sticker on the box before that was discovered. Originally Posted by MoonlitSonata
