Plugged into different sockets so can rule that out. It does how ever stop when I use my lightning cable in conjunction with my iPhone
charger so I'm thinking its an issue with power supply that came with the ipad. I'm under the impression that the iPhone charger is not as powerful as the iPad charger, but not 100% on this. Take it to an apple store Sunday so I will see what they say as I would like to use the charger that came with it! When I ordered my iPad I ordered one for my girl friend for a Christmas present tempted to open it and try her charger out lol but I doubt that will go down well 😄 off to apple at the weekend! For the record it looks like you guys know your stuff when it comes to iPads so thanks for the advice and look forward to being part of the community.
