    I don't think so, the only upgrades are:

    -better FaceTime cam
    -lightning dock
    -faster CPU

    To me, personally, that is not enough to upgrade from the iPad 3. There was no actual innovation to it; only a small updating of certain parts. The iPad 3 can and will be able to do everything an iPad 4 can do for years to come.

    I have the iPad 3, and will probably upgrade to the 5 or 6th gen, depending on what they upgrade

    If you have throw-away money and HAVE to stay on the cutting edge of Apple tech, then get it. If not, then don't.
