I've seen a 32GB (I think) flash drive called the iFlashDrive made by HyperMac. It has a 30 pin dock connector on one end (you will need the lightning adapter) and a USB connector on the other end, so it's compatible with both iOS devices and computers. I'm not exactly sure how much it costs or if it's available yet, I just saw it at a trade show recently. There are also various Bluetooth external hard drives compatible with the iPad, if you're looking for slightly more storage real estate and don't want something protruding from your iPad.
I would like to welcome you to this gorgeous online community, where iPad users from all walks of life come together to discuss that very piece of technology and more. I invite you to look around and make some new posts, we could certainly use that! Make yourself at home!

Have you considered network attached storage? What is NAS and what can it do for you?
