Hearing Aids and headphones?

Hi Guys,
I have just bought my first iPad and now need to understand it and what would be best for me. I will want to be able to watch films when travelling, other than by car, so what would be the best consideration for someone who wears internal hearing aids?

Ideally, it would be good if I could have something that I could split between me and my wife, so that perhaps we could both watch a film whilst flying, using the same earphone set? Not sure if such a thing exists, but perhaps someone can help?

This may also be of use http://www.tecear.com/Music_Link.htm (you could use a headphone splitter or amplifier to allow another set of headphones to be used.
