we have a project at work, I am trying to get a iPad to display on a 46" monitor in Portrait mode. the Tv/Monitor does not flip the signal any help in getting the display to be in portrait mode or the iPad to display that way?

Are you also putting the display in portrait, ie. the monitor is standing on its side?
Also, what type of connection are you using, cabled or Apple TV?

Yes TV will be on its side, using hdmi connection to iPad
