Email addresses to receive iMessages

I have listed multiple email addresses to receive iMessages. But when I do get a message, it does not tell me which email address was used by the sender. Is there a way of knowing besides asking the sender?

View the Contact info in the iMessage. It will show you which address was the source of the message.

I can see the sender's contact info but not mine or to which of the email addresses (listed to receive iMessages) it was sent.

Maybe you can send yourself a message and look at the sender info. Of course, you need two iDevices to do that.
