About LinkBacksI want my iPad video mirroring via Apple TV but let the audio come from headphone. Especially at night watching movies and audio disturbs others.

Get some wireless headphones for your TV?
Probably not what you want to hear, but the only solution I can think of. To the best of my knowledge it's all or nothing with AirPlay. You can not split the audio and video.

I'm sure I answered this same question this morning. Must be a duplicate thread??
My suggestion was to use the VGA adapter and VGA cable to the TV, that way the audio still has to come through the headphone jack.dhewson777

Yes, I saw that, after I replied to this one. Perhaps a Mod will meander by and merge the threads.
I never thought of that, but I don't have a TV, let alone a VGA adaptor. The only problem I see with it (in theory) is that you would either have to sit very close to the TV, or either the headphone or VGA cable would need to be fairly long. Of course, long cables of either type are easy enough to come by.

What about blue tooth ?
Can the iPad have Bluetooth headset on at the same time as air play ?
