my iPad applications keep redirecting back to the home page

I recently bought my iPad, like it's but a few days old. I find it weird though, well, after installing apps and playing with my iPad, I rested for a while, and when I selected a game to play, it keeps redirecting back to the home page. :/ . Even for facebook, twitter, and instagram the same thing happens. I closed all running applications hoping for a restore in my ultimate iPad experience but to no avail. What shall I do?

Try a reset for your iPad:
Hold both home button and the sleep/wake button at the same time until the red slide power-off switch appears. Just ignore this and keep holding down those two buttons until the Apple logo appears. Then let go both buttons and your iPad will then reboot. This can take a few minutes. Clears and tidies up memory or what other indigestion problems the Pad may have 😝. Hope it helps.
