    Cant Connect to iTunes Store with iPad3

    Hi there!
    I have exhausted all avenues. Hope one of you can assist.
    I recently took a iPad3 over from a friend of mine. I created my own Apple ID and have signed it with that under Settings>Itunes Store and App.
    When I enter the itunes icon on my desktop, it says "cant connect to the itunes store".
    I then only get podcasts and ituneU as options in itunes.
    I have tried to login and out, reset settings, network settings, restrictions...everything. Can someone please help?
    I am on a wifi connection.

    Hiya I've noticed recently that when I try and update any games through the store it tells me cannot connect to iTunes Store checked the settings that fine can anyone tell me is it something I'm doing wrong or is there a problem at the apple end only it's getting frustrating also I've noticed the iTunes and apple store layout has changed

    I had the same problem. I eventually did a restore of the iPad and it is now ok. One of the Apps could not be restored and I feel that it was my problem.

    Hiya moosemom I am on talktalk as my ISP I wonder if that has something to do with it because it was working ok before

    What country are you located in? Some countries limit which iTunes content is available in their countries.

    I have an IPod touch as well as an iPad. When I had the "unable to connect...." Message, my iPod was ok ....I only got in on my iPad.
    The app updates were working fine on my iPad and then a couple of weeks ago I started having problems. I followed another recommendation that I found online and that was to move ahead the date/time on the iPad and try again. This worked for a while but it was a pain changing the date backwards and then resetting it. Eventually this stopped working.
    I then attached my iPad to my desktop and via iTunes did a restore. There was one APP that it was unable to restore but my iPad is updating ok now.
    The app that did not restore was one I had added recently. It might have even been the last one I added before I started having problems. I can not be sure. I am just not going to add that App again - it was a freeby.

    A long answer to your question about it being an ISP problem. I am sure it was not in my case as my iPod continued to function and only my iPad had the problem.

    I had to contact apple help tonight they went through things fro disconnecting my iPad from the Internet to logging out and relogging back into my account even to checking the DNA code from talktalk they think the problem s with them got to ring them for a dns number if this doesn't work I'm going to change to bt
