    Jailbrake ban???

    Hello, I am new apple user and I do know almost nothing about I devices. So if I jailbrake my ipad 3 (Ios 5.1.1), can I also buy apps from the appstore and don't get banned or something like that? ( I must have some e-books for school, wich i don't think will be in cydia)
