Help, image stuck!!!

Hi

Our iPad has an image stuck in the Facebook Application.

When you open the Facebook App there is a photo that was sent to my wife in one of the messages stuck at the top of the page.
This is not in context with anything, it's just stuck there in a random location.

No matter where you go in Face Book it is always there at the top of the page (actually it doesn't move from where it is when you rotate the iPad, so it isn't really always at the top but it's always at the same location) .

Turning the iPad on and off does't help.

It does not appear if I go to her Facebook page in Safari of Dolphin.

Ok, my question is how do I get rid of it?
If this was my PC I would uninstall the Facebook application and re-install it in a different location so that it didn't pick up preferences or settings from the old install.

Anyone have any ideas about how I would fix it on the iPad?

You said you turned it off and on, did you kill the process and reboot?

Probably not what you want to hear but have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Facebook app, it should clear but obviously won't tell you why this happened.

That has happened to me a few times. I fixed it by exiting to the home screen and manually quitting the app. (double tap home button, then long press on the Facebook icon and tap the red minus sign.) good luck!

I have turned it off using the off button it that's what you mean.

I'll try uninstalling the app and re-installing it tomorrow.
