    Bluetooth for ipad3

    Can you watch a film and listen to it on my Bluetooth .

    Sure. Pair your iPad with your Bluetooth speaker through the Settings menu, then start the movie. Should work fine.

    I've tried that and the sound still comes out of the iPad not over the Bluetooth

    If your Bluetooth device is paired and connected (check bluetooth settings)

    Double tap the home button to go to the multitask bar, swipe right to see the controls. You should see the AirPlay icon (rectangle with triangle under it).

    Tap this and choose your Bluetooth device. Go back to your movie app and watch.

    The Airplay icon may appear in the movie app as well. If it does you can select the Bluetooth device from their instead. It depends on the app.

    Maybe iPad doesn't support the BT profile of your BT device. iPad supports a limited number of profiles. Have you ever had luck pairing them before?
