Connect Ipad to TV

Can you connect the ipad to a TV using a hard wire?
If so where can you get the cable?
Does the TV replicate the ipad picture i.e. does it fill the whole screen?

yes you can use a hard wire to connect your ipad to your TV, this is the one I use Apple Composite AV cable

Yes the picture will fill the screen
