Moving apps to Home Page

Hi all,
Just got my first iPad 3. Am used to iPhone 3 but having trouble with the iPad. I have installed a few apps now and managed to move one to my home page but now have three empty spaces which I can't seem to be able to drag any other apps into. Any ideas gratefully received :-)

Have you tried the old trick of placing the app(s) you want to move onto the dock, swiping to the page you want the app(s) to be and then moving them from the dock to the page?

I can't visualize what you mean by "three empty spaces." Is there any way you can take and post a screen shot so we can get a visual of your problem?

Thanks for the hint. Was able to move to the bottom try then flip the page and move out again :-)
