    When I connect through facebook for an app. it's in a different language

    Hello. Kind of a strange issue. I just got the new iPad (new from the apple store) and grabbed some games (words with friends, family feud etc..). Whenever I choose to connect through facebook with one of these, the facebook screen that pops up is in a different language. Strange because everything else is in english. It looks like it's using facebook mobile to do this, but when I actually go to m.facebook.com it's in english also. Not a big deal I suppose as all I really need to do is enter my facebook email and password and hit ok, but it bothers me that it's doing it. Im a complete noob at this, so maybe theres just a simple setting I have to change. Any help would be appreciated...thanks!

    It's in Malay. Perhaps uninstall and download it again.

    Tried that...happens on all apps that I try to use FB to login through..
    Yet when I go to FB mobile or any other website or whatever it's in English..not a big deal I guess but it really does annoy me lol.

    Me too. Have you found out an answer?

    Well mine has started doing the same thing. It just happened 2 days ago, but I have tried uninstalling everything and it still does that. The language code on the ipad is set up correctly. It is also set-up correctly on facebook. I can't seem to find a thread that has an answer to this problem. Mine language (passed on google translate) is Indonesian. I first noticed the change on Zynga Poker, but it has now impacted every app that I use to login with facebook. If you find an answer please post!

    I have voiced the same issue

    In fact, I tried installing Socialcam because many of my FB-friends have posted with it, but felt it was a scam as the FB-authentication was in a crazy language. Please post if anyone finds a solution!

    I have the same problem with both the iPhone and iPad. The problem seems to be IP based. If on wifi (Comcast) the facebook login screen is in a foreign language. If I switch to 3G (AT&T) it's pops up in English. Facebook recently changed their API around, maybe that has something to do with it.

    On initial login using Facebook, the dialog asking the user to authorize this application is displayed in seemingly random languages.Only Happens when user is connected over Wifi. You can go for settings or track your status: - Bug - Facebook Authorize App dialog displayed using incorrect locale - Facebook Developers or go for internationalization of facebook by Internationalization - Facebook Developers
