Deleted e mails

Can anyone tell me please how to stop my i Pad deleting e mails from my computer. I have looked for hours on line and can't find an answer. I can do so easiy with my phone.

Sounds like you may have it set to delete read emails from the server.


Try this:

Go to Settings/Mail, Contacts, Calendars. Select the email service that is giving problems, and touch Advanced.

On the next page, make sure Delete From Server is set to Never.

I do not have the option re deleting from server on my I pad only on my phone!

I'm having this same problem and have not been able to find a solution. The option for Delete from Server is not available. I think it may be how the e-mail account is set up. I am using AT&T U-verse, and the AT&T account doesn't seem to set it up this way.
