I downloaded an app from apple App Store. I played the game for a while, get bored and deleted it. But it's still on my desktop saying its installing. How can I get rid of it?

Sell your iPad? No! No! That just slipped out. The apps that came with the iPad can't be deleted in the usual manner. Apps 'purchased can be deleted. Haven't experienced your problem.

Assuming you have deleted other apps successfully. Try holding on the app to pause the install if it won't finish installing so you can try deleting it again. Then hold it again so it can finish installing. If all else fails, turn the iPad off an on again and delete the app if it's still there.
