Just had the Kindle app blank out on my iPad 2

Hi and thanks if you can assist. not sure if others here have had the same problem and been addressed but I just went onto the iPad and clicked on the KINDLE icon and it turns up with just a black screen! I hav had no problems previously. Have tried closing the ipad and coming back on and trying again and getting the same results. Would appreciate any guidance on getting it up and going and ensuring all my books and settings are fine.

If you've tried shutting down all apps, including Kindle, in the taskbar, and have tried restarting and resetting, and are still stuck, you can always delete the Kindle app, redownload it, sign back onto your account and redownload your books.

I've not had probs with the Kindle app over 2.5 years on iPad, but that's what I'd try in your place.
