Lost my bookmarks

    Lost my bookmarks

    I have just updated my iPad OS and now have lost all my bookmarks.
    Was this to be expected - it is certainly an inconvenience to say the least.

    Is there any way I can recover them?

    Were your bookmarks backed up on icloud?

    I now sync certain info to my icloud account. One of those things is my bookmarks. 2 weeks ago my PC hard drive died on me. after reloading my drive, I reinstalled safari on my pc and synced it with my icloud account. All my bookmarks were returned to my PC. The same would work for your ipad once you start syncing to icloud.

    Could you sync your PC to icloud and then sync to ipad from icloud?
