There is no way of doing this directly from Mail to Reminders. Copy&paste is about it.
I have been experimenting with Evernote along these lines.
When you get an Evernote account it comes with an email address you can use to forward the email to. If you add "@notebookname" to the subject field it will even place the email in that notebook. I keep one named Reminders just for this purpose.
