    Device sound on mute

    I use an iPad 2 and my music plays, you tube plays also but keyboard games and all other sounds are mute. I have tried virtually everything: restarted, reset, slide lock, double clicked home page and ll... But still to no avail.. Can some1 please help

    Don't worry. Lots of folks have the same issue. You just need to set up the mute correctly, and realise that mute does not necessarily mean what you think it might mean on the iPad

    I don't even have that mute bottom on th bottom left after I double click on home

    I have the sound active now but the rotation remains locked... Please whats the way forward

    Have you unlocked the side switch?
    And double tapped the home button and enabled audio?

    Yes I did and it's working perfectly... The side switch was locked so I just pushed it on.
