New to Ipad2 email question

I just recently got my ipad2 and I was trying to set up the mail feature with my college email but it asks me a lot bout incoming host name and all that? And I have no clue on how to set that up, it's a .edu account so I have to pick other when it asks which email server is it on (hotmail,aol exc.) any help would be awesome thank you much

If you're in school, I suggest asking people on campus, because they should know exactly what you need. If not on campus, you're probably not among the first to get an iPad, so maybe someone in your social network already knows.

Most university sites have a help/support pages that will tell you how to set up your computer/device for email. Some may only be open to registered students. Without knowing what college/university/other email provider you are using it's not really possible to guess the setup you'll need. There are a wide range of possibilities.

Try Googling the name of the institution and "email setup".
