About LinkBacksI just got an IPad2 and set up my gmail account. I've decided I don't want my gmail account on it but when I went to delete it, it gave me a warning that my gmail account would be deleted. Does that mean it will delete it only on my Ipad or will it completely delete it so that I no longer can view my messages on my PC?

If you delete from iPad, it affects only iPad, not other devices.

While I don't think I have ever deleted an EMail account (worked first time, haven't changed), I find it inconcievable that Keykaykay is incorrect.
If you are still concerned, I would first attempt this with your internet connection disabled. This would, in my mind, guarantee that the only modification would be to the iPad.

I've deleted Gmail accounts on iDevices multiple times. It has never affected anything but that device.
