So over the weekend i was doing my hair extensions and watching videos on my ipad, i went to put the next video on and my ipad slipped off my bed, landed screen down on the tiles.
It still makes sound, backlight comes on, syncs with itunes, everything else is working expect the display which is blank...
I heard if u hit the back of it the display will come back... is this true?
And how much would it cost me to get my baby fixed?
Im travelling to perth on thursday and have pre booked an appointment with genius for the day i come down...
But i really want to get my baby working before then!

Try a hard reset.Hold both home and power buttons together until it restarts.Maybe you lucky and it works again.

It's possible that a connector was jarred loose in the fall. Your genius bar appointment should resolve that.
