    Charging With a Laptop

    Hi,

    Does anyone know how to charge and iPads 2 with a MacBook Pro? The laptop is plugged into a power source but I still get the "not charging" on my iPad.

    It is charging but very slowly, just trickle charging.

    The iPad needs a bit more power than what a USB port can provide. If you don't use the iPad while it's connected, it will eventually fully charge.
