Screen Burn on iPad 2

You sure its not just screen retention? Does it disappear?

As pointed out by the above poster its probably just screen retention which often gets mistaken for screen burn.
Because of the contrast difference (black and white colour scheme) of the twitter app screen retention normally happens faster and is more noticeable. But it should go away. If you want to reduce how much this happens try turning down your screen brightness.
