About LinkBacksI did a search and can't seem to find the correct answer. When I turn the ipad 2 off, then plug it in to charge, the ipad starts up. Is this normal or is there a correct procedure to have it stay off while charging?

That is normal. If you want to charge it while it is off just plug it in then turn it off.
