I always use my wake/sleep feature.
OK. I'll bite. Sleep/wake. Why? Habit. Never remember that it can be turned off, and whatever I was doing, I can just resume.

Exactly. Second nature at this point. Something comes up in the middle of a game, e-mail,video,etc. I'm right back to where I was without losing battery.Originally Posted by KevinJS

I always use my smart cover and never really had a problem with it.
I tend to switch mine off overnight, I read somewhere it charges quicker when off than when in standby. It boots so quickly from off it's not an issue.
Um yeah...it saves battery if you don't make your iPad go to sleep the screen brightness will lower your iPads battery where when it's asleep it doesn't lower the batteryOriginally Posted by youngun
