Run a restore from backup in iTunes

Thanks but do I need to connect my iPad to the computer then do the restore. Sorry to be so dense.

1st let me ask. Have you ever done a backup in itunes by right clicking on your iPad in Devices and then click "Backup" ? If you have then you just right click and then select "Restore from Backup" and yes the ipad needs to be connected to the PC and itunes running.
Now, if you haven't ever done a backup in itunes then you have lost the data for that game.
