Help please

Hi everyone. I have an ipad ios 4.3.3 and a gmail account and I have never had problems opening video email atatchments with the regular native player or with other players like Oplayer when the videos are not mp4. But as a geek maniac I decided to buy the Ipad 2 and it is running ios 5.01. The problem is the video atachments wont download completely. They seem to download but when I press my finger on top of the supposed downloaded file nothing happens.
Please help me
