    Can Apple TV be connected directly to a projector?

    This may seem like a newbie question but that's what I am.
    Can an Apple TV be connected directly to a projector so an iPad2 can be used as a wireless connection????

    Or a DVI connection

    HDMI -> DVI adapters are low cost and work well. The signal is not converted, it's just a matter of physical connector conversion
