Cracked Corner

So, I just went and got my iPad two out of the car and cut my finger on some glass! My iPad 2 is cracked in the bottom right corner and the edge is chipped! Have NO clue how it happened. I haven't even had it two weeks! It's a early birthday present from my fiance! Do you think apple will replace it??

Apple has replaced many iPads with cracked screens in the past as a one time replacement courtesy only. It was never a policy and was at the stores discretion, a lot of staff do not know about it either. Recently a lot of members are having to pay for this service. My advice to you is to make an appointment with the Genius bar personnel, be honest, be distraught, be very nice and do not expect a replacement. You never know, some have been very lucky.
