Yesterday my new IPAD did a software update, restarted, but when it came back the IPOD icon was gone! I have the music icon, and can see it all there.... was the Icon supposed to go away? I still have the store icon, etc. thanks.

Yesterday my new IPAD did a software update, restarted, but when it came back the IPOD icon was gone! I have the music icon, and can see it all there.... was the Icon supposed to go away? I still have the store icon, etc. thanks.
Yep, all is ok, in the iOS 5 update the iPod App was replaced by the Music App.

Hi, At the bottom of the Music screen is a button to get to the list of playlists. It is right between Store and Songs. Once on the Playlists page there is a link (or there should be) that says New. Click that to name a new Playlist. Then you can add music to it. It is pretty easy once you get used to it.
