About LinkBacksWhen I go to update my ipad2 from OS4.3 to OS5 I get "Error occurred while backing up this IPAD (-5000). Continue will result in loss of all contents on this IPAD. Can anyone help?

I had this happen to myself when upgrading the iPad. I closed iTunes, switched off all AV software and tried again. Worked without a problem then. Others seem to have tried the same and it worked for them too. Suggest you try this. Not ideal having AV switched off so remember to enable as soon as you can safely do so.
