    The both use the same 1Ghz A5 processor, but the iPad2 can utilise the full speed whilst the iPhone4S has been hobbled to 800Mhz, no doubt to conserve precious battery... Both can dynamically alter the speed depending on usage. Full details here - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apple_A5

    Yeah very true. But what frightening is my iPhone 4 is not that much of a difference with my iPhone 4S weird. In som tests the iPhone 4 is faster

    Really? I notice my 4S's extra horsepower... very happy with the upgrade.

    I am also happy it's just that my battery life on the 4s is horrible. iPad 2 is amazing. Mine last for weeks on end. It's never slow. Always quick

    True. Just my battery life on the 4S is hideous and to make matters worse I set up has a new iPhone. The iPad 2 is amazing. Battery life lasts for weeks.

    I do agree. The battery life is quite noticeably down on the standard 4. Still trying to find the optimum settings for everything to ensure it is maximised.
    Being back to charging the phone every day is the only thing I dislike so far...

    With the amount of technology pumped into smartphones, I doubt we'll see good battery life anytime soon.
