In Safari, hit the Bookmarks icon. Now press 'Edit', then press the red 'minus' sign to the left of the bookmark you want to delete. That 'minus' sign turns through 90 degrees and a 'delete' button appears to the right of the bookmark. Press that, and you're good to go.
