About LinkBacksMy cat knocked my IPad 2 off my nightstand, and it has a crack now- but it's only at the very top, about half a dime sized crack on the top edge, to the left of the webcam by about an inch. All the 'spider cracks' that have formed also go off the top as well. Not sure if they'll spread down to the actual screen part. No damage to the aluminum.
Is it safe to use for a while until I can get to an Apple store or the Best Buy with my warranty (I believe it included accidental damage, it was a gift and that's what I was told)? We have a huge job coming up and I'm needed out of state very soon, and I really don't want to ship off my IPad to be fixed right when I'll be traveling and I need it most.

And the regular warranty from Apple doesn't cover accidental damage.

You typically don't need it ~
Apple will replace accidents as a one time courtesy.

I have the accidental damage warranty through Best Buy. ^_~ At least, that's what I was told.
