It definitely would have broken my heart seeing the poor little girl cry like that, that's most likely what gave u the courage and adrenalin to pursuit the punk.

Thats exactly it, when i saw the punk have the nerve to snatch it from such a young girl i immiediately thought "that is just so wrong, so wrong on many accounts" i couldnt believe my eyes and theres no way he was going to get away with it.

So, where did this happen? I bet the local newspaper ran a good story on it. Are you in line for a Good Citizen award?
BTW, when you brought down the thief, presumably the iPad clattered to the ground. How badly was it damaged?
