Movie Thumbnails

Is there a way to size down the thumbnails when you are browsing for movies on the IPAD 2? When I click on the VIDEOS icon it opens up and they are so damn big! It would be nice if I could make them smaller and fit more movie thumbnails on the screen at once instead of having to page through...

I must admit, this gets me too! I can't see anything obvious in settings, and pinching won't work

The thumbnail size of the native Video app is fixed.

If the movies are non-iTunes one's, a different video player might help, but if they were bought through iTunes, there is little one can do.

On second thought, it should be possible to adjust the size slightly by either downsizing the thumbnail in iTunes, or removing it completely. Not sure how useful that would be though.

But you should be able to remove the image, flag the movie as a Music Video, that way it would just show the start of the video as a thumbnail, while also showing the movie name. And the overall size would be slightly smaller.

Go to settings, video, and check "Play from were left off" is one way, just tapping the icon of the video starts play straight away on mine.
