Hey folks,

New to the forums. Anyone in New Orleans been on the hunt for the elusive Ipad2?

Kind of thinking I'll try the Apple Store in Lakeside tomorrow morning.

Just looking for some feedback/info sharing. Thanks!

Good to hear from you. You’ll find a whole bunch of iPad enthusiasts in this Forum who are only too willing to help other iPad owners and to hear of their experiences. Don’t be afraid to post any questions you may have or use the ‘Search’ button near the top of the Forum web page. I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!

The iPad2 is even more elusive in the UK - it's not on sale here until Friday. There are a lot of people concerned that the world-wide shortage will have an impact on availability here too as Apple struggle to meet demand.

I purchased one at the Target in Harvey last Friday morning. I got there at 6:30 am, after looking at one of the threads that showed stock real time of all the Target's. No one else got there before opening, so I lost 1 1/2 hours of sleep, but it was worth it. I reserved one at Best Buy in Slidell before then (last Wednesday), and it came in today. My dad decided he wanted one after seeing mine, so we went and got it. They had 4 more in stock at 4 pm. Just keep trying, they are out there.
