yeah. think i'll order my ipad 2, smart cover and hdmi cable first thing friday morning, then pop into town friday evening or saturday morning.

if i get lucky i'll just cancel my online order.

@sjleworthy that is what I am going to do. I spoke to someone at apple and they said I could do this but that money is taken from your bank when the item is purchased. It will be returned immediately if you cancel but may take up to 10 days to show up in your bank account!

thats cool. i'm also going to confirm this with the .co.uk store help line on thursday. there should be an easy grace time to cancel your order between the time your place the telephone order and the time they actually ship it out. that time must be at least 2-3 days minimum i'd have thought.
