I was referring to the "enough to get by" comment. Yes, Tmobile and AT&T edge are compatible.Originally Posted by hoshnasi
I have an extra line that I'm waiting for the contract to end. So might as well cut the sim and use it for my iPad. If I really need the speed, I'll just pop in the AT&T sim and pay for a month if I'm traveling but I'm ok with everything since I'm usually just surfing, FBing and tweeting.Originally Posted by twinsmama

Just tether to your phone and get faster speed. $130 extra for 3G function and it's medeocer speed is not worth it. Beside, hot spots are everywhere and expanding.
I use an xperia x10i that uses tmobile's hsdpa network bandwidth and I can download very fast when I tether my iPad. In the speed of 500kbps to 1.5Mbps. Very convenient and reliable connection when you need it. But not all the time, wifi tether kill battery fast!
