I JUST GOT IT! It came one day early..white 32 gb WiFi iPad 2..SO HAPPY..anyways, I Need to know what to look for as far as those bleeding screen issues are concerned..how do I check the iPad to make sure everything is Ok

Yeah but I want to check it and make sure there isnt anything wrong with it, nervous about the bleeding light issue I have been reading about..what do I have to do to check for that

Well ~ I suppose you can go into a really dark room under your stairs, or the bathroom, turn off all the lights.

How often would you be in a completely dark room?

Ok so I jusdt went into a dark room to check it out, booted the iPad..at first I did not see anything..but kept on focusing and now I see a tiny bit on the side, nothing really noticeable..I checked my iPod Touch 4th Gen and it doeset have it at all but on the iPad 2 yeah nothing major..now I have a headache from looking at it so much LOL..so basically its nothing to be concerned about right..no such thing as perfection, and if it doesnt affect my iPad then I will keep it..it looked very minor, I really had to look to see it, its on the bottom left and left hand side, but that was after checking it out a few times so maybe its just my eyes and there is nothing there..if it was VERY bad I would have seen it right away

Having checked out possible alternatives, just to be sure, I thenproceeded to try to buy an iPad but found there was a 3 week wait on the Apple online store and nothing availale in Derby, England. A call to Sheffield's Meadowhall Apple store initiated a quick drive up the M1 and success. I now have a lovely iPad2.

Nah it doesnt bother me at all, in fact its hardly noticable when I turn the thing on

these are two images I took of it in my closet, disregard the line in the middle of the iPad, its just a reflection of some clothes..notice the left side, from what people have told me its very very minor, compared to others I have seen online that look horrible this doesnt compare so I think Im fine..besides, I could return it and end up with a worse one so since this one works fine I am gonna keep it..was just wondering since I have 2 weeks to return it to get a brand new one I wanted to act fact in case something was wrong

Grats!! I know the wonderful feeling of holding that brand new iPad We have the same one. Do you have the AT&T or Verizon edition? Happy ipadding lol

I have the AT&T, but I haven't activated the 3G yet. I LOVE it! Definitely, faster...
