Hi, I am new to this forum, have a new iPhone and iPad, still trying to learn about them, however I am having difficulties transferring music from iTunes to phone and iPad, I get message "waiting for changes to be applied",
can someone help me.

Hi, berr33! Welcome to iPF!
This message usually means that iTunes is syncing, and it needs some time to get everything right.
However, if it takes too long and doesn't show any progress, there are a few things you could try:
Reset your iPad: disconnect it from the computer. Then press and hold Home and Power button, until the Apple logo appears. Release both and let the iPad start on it's own.
Restart iTunes (computer): turn it off, then on again.
Connect your iPad to the computer again and try to sync.
The last solution would be to backup your iPad, then restore it from an backup through iTunes (computer).
